The Tastes of Gold Coast website has been developed to be used with assistive technologies, keyboard functionality and alternative input devices.
Skip links
Skip links are provided at the beginning of each page to allow quick access to the navigation, content and footer sections of the page. A screen reader will pick these links up and you can also access them using the Tab key on the keyboard.
Tab order
By pressing Tab key you can jump through the various sections on the website. The tab order starts with the skip at the beginning of the page then preceeds through the remaining website sections in a logical order. To traverse backwards in tab order use the combination of Shift + Tab together.
Access keys
Access keys can be used to deliver quick access via the keyboard to important links on a page. The following access key combinations can be used on this website:
- Alt + 2 » Site map
- Alt + 3 » Navigation
- Alt + 4 » Signup form
- Alt + 5 » Accessibility features
To use access keys simply press Alt (on a windows computer), or Control (on a mac computer) and an access key number .
Note: Support for access keys is limited on different browsers and may not function as expected.
