Taste the fresh produce prepared by some of the Gold Coast’s top chefs at the Market Kitchen at Marina Mirage Farmers’ Markets.
Six of the Gold Coast’s finest chefs will be on show at the Marina Mirage Farmers’ Market special event, The Market Kitchen as part of Tastes of Gold Coast on Saturday 29 August.
Chefs from award winning Marina Mirage restaurants will prepare restaurant quality meals from the farm fresh produce and gourmet food available at the Marina Mirage Farmers’ Market in a free cooking demonstration from 8am to 12noon.
Chefs participating include Richard Burt (Fellini), Sam Hue (Sam the Wok Man), Karl Knack (Glass Dining & Lounge Bar), Steve Loving (Diva Tea & Coffee House), Benjamin Machonacie (Saks Restaurant & Bar) and John Omeros (Omeros Brothers).
Some of the dishes that will be created include Lamb, Strawberry, Mango and Paw Paw Salad, Eye Fillet Steak Chinese Style on Asian Greens and Linguette ai gamberi.
Entry is free.
