
As a special feature for Tastes of Gold Coast, the Savour Gold Coast September dinner will celebrate Queensland's 150th birthday.
The celebration will include a unique menu featuring Queensland produce, accompanied by matched wines from the Sunshine State. This event will begin with pre-dinner drinks by the pool, overlooking the lights of Broadbeach, before dining in the Sofitel's newly renovated restaurant.
This Queensland celebration menu, pepared by Executive Chef John O'Shea is;
Terrine
Gympie fresh chevre goats cheese and vegetable terrine with capsicum essence and Tamborine micro-herbs.
Scallops
Hervey Bay scallops, cauliflower gratin with crisp pancetta.
Surf and Turf
Toowoomba Royal grain fed eye fillet, Mooloolaba king prawn provencal salsa, potato gratin and vine ripened tomato.
Tarte Tatin
Caramelized pineapple tarte tatin with Bundaberg run and banana ice cream.
